I always try to observe and listen to what I hear and see first, without regard to the evaluations and values of others, and on this basis I seek my own interpretation and make judgments.

My approach to photography is also the same, starting with confronting the phenomenon in front of me, photographing it, accumulating and examining it, and after the repetition of this process, I repeat the process of finding something. The process of increasing the purity of a vague image, that’s how I approach photography.

My solo exhibition ‘Sea of Silence Mare Tranquillitatis’, held in May 2018, is a document of an Anglers, a gateway to the ‘JISSO (reality)’ that I finally glimpsed after 12 years of photographing. As an anglers, I will continue to consider human beings through fishing as my life’s work. As a photographer, I will continue to focus on all of human activity, not only anglers, but also all of human life.

Profile

Angler
Photographer
Membr of The Photographic Society of Japan(2002~)
Member of gallery176

Biography

Born in 1974
1993 Admitted to Osaka University of Arts.
1995 Staying in Israel and Palestine(in that time , I worked at Tel Aviv).
1998 Dropped out of Osaka University of Arts.
2000 Staying in South America for 1 year(Argentina,Brazil,Chile,Paraguay).
After returning from SouthAmerica, Became free-lance photographer through assistant of advertisement photographer.

2018 YOSHITOMI PHOTO FESTIVAL 2018 (Nantan KYOTO )
2018 Solo exhibition “SIZUKANO UMI Mare Tranquillitatis” (gallery176 Toyonaka OSAKA, gallery2299 Susami WAKAYAMA)

早川知芳 / HAYAKAWA Tomoyoshi ≫ 日本語 | 繁體中文 In all of my daily activities, I always try to “verify wit […]

["post-447","page","type-page","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
