波多野祐貴 / YUKI Hatano
I am interested in the interaction between self and others, or individual and surrounding society.
This is my main theme.
From 2016 to the very beginning of 2020, I have visited Taiwan to take photography of unfamiliar people and city landscapes.
This work is titled “Call”, and reviewed that “Without depending on the exisotisim, she attempts to represent people and landscape in Taiwan. Through taking photography, she embraces the existence, who she encounters.”
The second work “Unveil” consists of photographs, which are taken in several countries I have traveled.
In this work, I attempt to describe the metaphor of modern society hidden in the daily landscape. It is beyond the individuality of countries or places.
